I drew those numbers a few years ago as part of an ongoing
self-initiated project, thinking to give life to it so that they could shine and give it breath of its own, even for a while, but I never found the right opportunity.
The idea for these posters came while I was crafting a tribute poster for Ivan Chermayeff who passed away last year, and the quote by Andy Warhol, in which he stated that “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”
Perhaps it is numbers’ time for brilliance.
Numbers can express the mystery and beauty of the universes around us, from the unimaginably vast and the inconceivably tiny, from the mind-bendingly complex to the deceptively simple.
Together, these numbers can create infinite possibilities.
It is said that there is power in numbers.
Again, they are numbers, but they are not just numbers.
